The Hayden Homes Central Oregon Charity Championship took place at Juniper Preserve. The one-day tournament featured 32 local non-profits going for the top prize.
“The Central Oregon charity Championship is like a U.S. Open for charity. It’s 32 teams representing 32 different charities, playing for a pretty significant purse. it’s going to be competition meets community,” said Central Oregon Charity Championship Director John Bladholm.
Organizers say they would like to expand this kind of charity tournament across the country.
