Pronghorn Golf Academy is home to Jeff Ritter’s acclaimed MAKE THE TURN Performance coaching program and the innovative club fitting company True-Spec Golf. Jeff Ritter was ranked as the #1 Coach in Oregon by Golf Digest from 2019 to 2023, and Golf Digest recognized the Pronghorn Academy as one of the “Best Academies In The West.”
Programs for adults and juniors include private coaching, half-day schools, and corporate engagements are offered. Our state-of-the-art indoor/outdoor learning center provides a game-changing learning experience all year round at the finest training facility in the Pacific Northwest.
Talon Payne, True spec golf master club fitter
Talon Payne is the full-time Master Club Fitter for True Spec Golf. He graduated from the New Mexico State University PGA Golf Management program and is a talented competitive player and coach.
With a successful amateur playing career, including winning two State Championships, Talon has now dedicated himself to helping others enjoy the game more. His success lies in finding the perfect equipment, crucial to elevating one’s skill and promoting confidence. Talon is currently in his second year with the Academy performance team, and the team is looking forward to the impact he will bring to the program.
