Shakti Farm Design joins us at Juniper Preserve to teach about sustainable food growing practices that you can do in your own backyard!
About Shakti Farm Design
Shakti Farm design is committed to create a sustainable food growing for the community. A small step through creating a green thriving environment on your land is helping shape the future of our planet. Growing your own vegetables in the greenhouse is cutting down on carbon emissions produced and healing the earth from the upset caused in the natural balance in soil through monoculture. We are taking part in countering climate change and creating a sustainable living for families and communities. We build greenhouses, create a permaculture based growing medium with natural bacteria and mycelium instead of chemical fertilizers and educate on how to grow year round food in our harsh Central Oregon weather condition.
We have recently built a Greenhouse for Three Rivers School in Sunriver with a Grant provided by Central Oregon Health Council.
